Ashish Datey is the Schlumberger Petrophysics Domain Champion for Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. He studied Electrical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He joined Schlumberger 27 years ago as a Wireline field engineer and moved to the Data and Consulting Services segment of Schlumberger in 1998. For the past 11 years he has been based in Melbourne providing Petrophysics support for Schlumberger’s New Technology Services in the Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea region.
