FESQ Petrophysics and Geomechanics Course
Developing a Petrophysical Workflow, Andy Hall, Pentagram Petrophysics + Geomechanics for Unconventional Resources, Zach John, Schlumberger
The ½ day Petrophysics course takes a well and walks through the technical challenges that were envisaged before drilling, the data set that was acquired to mitigate those reservoir uncertainties and the methodology and results of the petrophysical interpretation. Geomechanics plays an important role in developing unconventional resources such as Coal Seam Gas (CSG), Tight Gas and Shale Gas.
The ½ day Geomechanics course will help you understand the fundamentals of geomechanics and its applications to unconventional reservoirs (CSG and Shale Gas). This will allow for better field development decisions.
